I just purchased this print, of Alex Eylar’s Lego interpretation of Nighthwaks, which is one of my favorite paintings. This version captures the melancholy, loneliness and ‘company of strangers’ found in the original, but adds in a youthfulness that only Lego can provide. I dig it. It makes me think of my childhood.
